Articulated Program Requirements:

  • To qualify for the Business Agreement, CSM students must:
    • Complete the Associate of Science in Business Administration, Associate of Science in Business Administration: Technical Management, Associate of Applied Science in Accounting, Associate of Applied Science in Business Management, or Associate of Applied Science in Hospitality Management.
    • Graduate from CSM with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0.
  • To qualify for the Digital Media Production/Mass Communication Agreement, CSM students must:
    • Complete the Associate of Arts in Digital Media Production at CSM.
    • Only courses in which students earn a grade of "C" or better may count toward satisfaction of major or minor requirements. 
  • To qualify for the Electrical Engineering Agreement, CSM students must:
    • Complete the Associate of Science in Engineering, Electrical Engineering degree at CSM.
  • Guaranteed admissions for CSM students who have:
    • Earned an CSM Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, Associate of Arts in Teaching, Associate of Science in Engineering, or Associate of Applied Science degree.
    • Submit the FSU Application for Admission at least 6 months prior to the start of the semester they wish to transfer to Frostburg State University.
    • Satisfy all other FSU admissions requirements.
    • Graduate from CSM with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0.
    • Enroll in FSU within one year of graduating from CSM without attending another institution of higher education. 
    • Understand that admission to Frostburg State University does not necessarily guarantee admission to a particular major. A few majors at FSU have additional admission criteria.
  • To qualify for the Materials Engineering and Electrical Engineering Agreement, CSM students must:
    • Complete the Associate of Science in Engineering degree at CSM. 
  • To qualify for the Mathematics Agreement, CSM students must:
    • Complete the Associate of Science in Mathematics and Sciences with a Concentration in Mathematics degree at CSM. 
  • To qualify for the Music Agreement, CSM students must:
    • Complete the Associate of Arts in Arts and Sciences: Music degree at CSM. 
    • Have passed required auditions and diagnostics administered by FSU's Music Department.

  • For admission to the Associate Degree in Nursing (AS) to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program, CSM students must:
    • Meet application requirements for CSM as a degree seeking student during the time they are enrolled in the AS degree portion of the curriculum.
    • Meet the application requirements of FSU as a degree-seeking student during the entire time they are enrolled in the Associate to Bachelor's option.
    • Dually enroll at CSM and FSU for the time period during which they are earning their AS degree in Nursing. 
    • Pass the NCLEX-RN examination on the first attempt, at the completion of their AS degree, in order to continue to the next well. 
    • Complete an application for transfer admission to FSU upon acceptance into the Associate to Bachelor's option.

  • To qualify for the Recreation & Parks Management - Community Program Delivery Concentration Agreement, CSM students must:
    • Complete the Associate of Arts in General Studies: Communication at CSM.
    • Take the courses outlined in the articulation agreement.
  • To qualify for the Recreation & Parks Management - Sport Promotion & Communication Concentration Agreement, CSM students must:
    • Complete the Associate of Arts in Arts and Sciences at CSM.
    • Take the courses outlined in the articulation agreement.
  • To qualify for the Reverse Transfer Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), CSM students must:
    • Earned 30 credits or more at CSM.
    • Earned a total of 60 credits or more (including all CSM, FSU, and any transfer credits).
    • Has not attained an associates or bachelor's degree from CSM, FSU, or other higher education institution.
  • To qualify for the Social Science Agreement, CSM students must:
    • Complete the Associate of Arts in Arts and Sciences: Social Sciences at CSM.
    • Only courses in which students earn a grade of "C" or better may count toward satisfaction of major or minor requirements. 
  • To qualify for the Strategic Communication Agreement, CSM students must:
    • Complete the Associate of Arts in General Studies: Communication at CSM.
    • Only courses in which students earn a grade of "C" or better may count toward satisfaction of major or minor requirements. 
  • To qualify for the Theater Agreement, CSM students must:
    • Complete the Associate of Arts in Arts and Sciences: Theater and Dance at CSM.
    • Only courses in which students earn a grade of "C" or better may count toward satisfaction of major or minor requirements.

    • Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, General Management Concentration

  • Guaranteed Admission is also available for part-time students. 
  • Under the Associate to Bachelor's for Nursing Agreement, the transfer application fee to FSU will be waived.

Financial Aid Frequently Asked Questions for ATB Nursing Option

  1. I am receiving federal or state financial aid. How will participating in Frostburg's ATB Program impact my financial aid? While you are taking classes at CSM and Frostburg State University at the same time, your financial aid will be processed through Frostburg's financial aid office. You should contact Frostburg's financial aid office to see what options are available to assist with your CSM and Frostburg courses. You are responsible for making payment arrangements for your CSM classes directly, as Frostburg will not send any payment to CSM on your behalf.
  2. I am receiving Veterans' Benefits to assist with paying for my tuition. How will participating in Frostburg's ATB Program impact my VA Benefits? While you are taking classes at CSM and Frostburg at the same time, your classes at both institutions can be submitted to the VA for payment, provided the courses are required for your bachelor’s degree program. You should contact both Frostburg and CSM’s veterans offices to determine how to use your VA benefits for your Frostburg and CSM classes.
