Provocations Faculty Excellence Speaker Series: “Exploring How Colleges Are Preparing for Increasing Hispanic Populations” with Jesse Gonzalez. Associate Professor of English Jesse Gonzalez will explore what colleges are doing around the nation to welcome and educate the growing Hispanic populations in our schools. Code Green Fridays. June 7, 14, 21, and 28, 1:30 p.m. Code Green is designed to shrink the college’s carbon footprint during the hot months of summer by reducing building and infrastructure usage. During the weeks of CODE GREEN, most CSM buildings and services will close at 1:30 p.m. and remain closed throughout the weekend except for special circumstances. Analiese Pappas most recently made her international debut as Flora in Britten’s “The Turn of the Screw” with the Trentino Music Festival in Italy. In addition to her operatic endeavors, Analiese is a versatile choral and chamber performer of early, sacred, and new music who has performed at venues such as the National Cathedral, Willard InterContinental Hotel, and the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.
