The College of Southern Maryland (CSM) was recognized for its marketing efforts at the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR) District 1 Conference Oct. 25-27 in Long Branch, NJ. The college received a silver Medallion Award in the Computer-Generated Illustration category for the work created by Graphic Designer Darius Sanchez of CSM's Marketing, Admissions, and Recruitment Department.

The NCMPR Medallion Awards recognizes outstanding achievement in design and communication at community and technical colleges in each of NCMPR's seven districts. The regional competition is exclusive to marketing and public relations professionals at two-year colleges.
