The Math Resource Center provides a safe and inviting academic environment for College of Southern Maryland students to build confidence in all disciplines that speak the language of math.
Through collaboration with the campus community, the MRC team supports students with individualized success strategies that develop an understanding of how math works and why math is important, while promoting and encouraging lifelong learning.
"All in all, I will definitely be frequenting the Math Resource Center on a more regular basis after this Boot Camp. Although I had been informed about it in my previous course, I felt as if I wasn’t presented with enough information. To me, it sounded more like a set of offices with set times for tutoring, not a free tutoring area with attentive instructors and calm atmosphere. I didn’t think I could fit in scheduled tutoring into my schedule. With this new information, my opinion has certainly changed." - CSM student
