The College of Southern Maryland (CSM) and Charles County Government announce that public bus transit service hours for the CSM Connector have been expanded to better serve students who use public transportation to attend CSM, or commute between campuses.

The CSM Connector, operated by Charles County Government’s VanGO service, provides free bus trips between the tri-county bus hub in Charlotte Hall, the Regional Hughesville Campus, and the La Plata Campus. In doing so, the CSM Connector then offers a way for students coming to Charlotte Hall using Calvert County Public Transportation’s or St. Mary’s County Transportation Systems to get to the Regional Hughesville Campus or the La Plata Campus for classes or services.

Last year, the last CSM Connector left the La Plata Campus around 2 p.m. This academic year, this time shifts to 3:17 p.m., providing a new option for students. In addition, the last bus leaving the Regional Hughesville Campus has been extended to 3:40 p.m.
