Environmental and Migrant Justice: A Colombian Perspective

On April 24, the 4th Annual Latino Fest explores the intersection of environmental, racial, and migrant justice for Colombia and Colombians. Special guests join CSM faculty, students, and alumni for a showing of the Afro-Colombian documentary “¡Acuerto Humanito YA!” (“Humanitarian Accord NOW!”); discussions of Afro-Latinx cultural identity, migrant rights, and post-conflict healing; a concert by internationally acclaimed Colombian salsa sensation Verny Varela; and refreshments provided by Lalass Food.
