The Associate of Science in Engineering (ASE) in Computer Engineering (CE) curriculum is designed for students whose goal is to transfer to a four-year Maryland college or university and earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering.
Upon completing the ASE in CE, students will be prepared for junior-level work as a Computer Engineering major. Students may need to strengthen their skills before taking required courses.

Students Interested in Transferring to University of Maryland, College Park (UMD)
In September 2022, University of Maryland College Park approved CSM's SOC-2010: Technology and Society to transfer as ENEE-200: Engineering Ethics.
Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering students interested in transferring to University of Maryland, College Park are encouraged to take SOC-2010 as one of their Social/Behavioral Science courses.
