Multigenerational Workforce event graphic

Workshops, networking, and a town hall focused on quality of life for Southern Maryland workers across generations. Guided by Zeid Chleuh and JC Martin of Peak Performance Solutions, participants will share perspectives on life and work in Southern Maryland, learn from each other, and explore the dynamics of the region’s multigenerational workforce.

A one-day conference celebrating Women’s History Month, designed to empower and energize women entrepreneurs and nonprofit pioneers. WomenLead will energize attendees and provide access to expert insights, tangible tips, and resources through breakout sessions and a panel discussion. The keynote speaker is Mia Williams, a Prince George's County native and the Founder of the Colors of Her Success, a professional networking organization.

Leadership Southern Maryland (LSM) is accepting applications for the Executive Program Class of 2026. This nine-month educational program cultivates the regional knowledge and community leadership capacities of senior professionals who live or work in Calvert, Charles, and St. Mary’s counties. Learn more by attending an information session: 

  • Tuesday, March 11, 9:30-10:30 a.m. - via Zoom
  • Thursday, March 13, 5-6:30 p.m. - Calvert location to be announced 
  • Thursday, March 20, 5-6:30 p.m. - St. Mary’s, Call Signs Restaurant, Lexington Park   
  • Thursday, March 27, 12-1 p.m. - Charles  location to be announced
  • Tuesday, April 1, 5-6 p.m. - via Zoom

Scholarships are available for employees of nonprofit organizations.

Advance registration is required.

 

The Nonprofit Alliance is a committee of the Calvert County Chamber of Commerce working to advance the vision of ensuring Calvert County has sufficient resources to fulfill the community's needs. This team facilitates purposeful connections and collaborations between the Alliance and the for-profit sector.

Virtual meetings are held on the third Tuesday of every month. These meetings allow nonprofits to discuss available resources and give members a chance to network.

The Calvert County Grants Collaborative comprises grant writers from nonprofit and government organizations in Calvert County. The group meets virtually every quarter to share information on grants they were seeking, fundraising needs within their organizations that could be served by grant funding, and opportunities for organizations to collaborate on current and future grant projects.

The next virtual meeting will be held Wednesday, Feb. 19.

This group is a forum for discussion for any organization that serves veterans or service members in Calvert, Charles, St. Mary's, and Prince George's counties. The group meets at 1 p.m. on the third Tuesday of every month.
