This concentration introduces students to business and management in public and private organizational settings. This program may be completed online.
The Business Management, AAS program serves as a doorway to career opportunities and advancement.
Students may have prior work experience or be new to the workforce. In each case, students develop or improve skills required of managers and professionals in a variety of business settings. Students may opt for a general Business Management, AAS or pursue one of the following Concentrations:
Graduates expand the breadth and depth of their competencies with a broad-spectrum business education. Core courses ground students solidly in the functional areas of business, such as management, human resources, marketing, accounting, and finance.
Students expand their knowledge in business communication, law, leadership, and strategy. Concentrations, upper-level courses, and electives allow students to narrow the focus of their degree.

This concentration prepares students for construction management practice and entry-level management responsibilities in the construction field.
This concentration provides students with a broad understanding of business with a focus on digital marketing and management, including analyzing, interpreting, and communicating in both traditional marketing and social media environments.
This concentration equips students for management positions in the hospitality industry, including supervision of front office operations, housekeeping management, and food and beverage services, as well as marketing and the use of information systems.
This concentration focuses on the knowledge and skills necessary for leadership roles within the retail industry. Students explore management concepts in both small and large retail environments preparing students to assume positions of managerial responsibility in the retail industry.
This concentration covers the essential concepts of starting and operating a small business. Students develop skills in business communication, management, marketing, customer relations, and operating a small business with a socially responsible mindset.
This concentration highlights the critical role of information technology in business operations. Students learn how to use information technology in business applications for systems analysis and decision support. Students also gain knowledge in project management.
