Author and CSM assistant professor of English Caitlyn Hunter will discuss myth, history, and growing up in Southern Maryland, and will read excerpts from her book, “Power in the Tongue,” a hybrid memoir that reimagines stories about her family in the vein of Black folktales.

An injured person can succumb to blood loss in a matter of minutes, and you may be able to save a life by taking simple actions immediately. “Stop the Bleed” kits are located next to the Automated External Defibrillator (AED) cabinets in all college buildings and are marked on the interactive campus maps.
