Dec. 16: Purdue University Global, University of Maryland Global Campus, York College School of Nursing (Online RN to BSN Program)
Fixing machinery has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Ever since I could walk, I have helped in projects varying from restoring classic cars to maintaining farming equipment on my family’s farm. I’ve always enjoyed the challenge of looking at a broken piece of equipment and reverse-engineering what went wrong to find the best solution.
Majoring in mechanical engineering was a natural progression in my education, and it provides the perfect outlet for my mechanical knowledge and desire for invention. After receiving my associate degree at CSM, I plan to transfer to the University of Maryland, College Park (UMD) to earn my bachelor’s.
My plan is to combine my engineering degree with my bachelor’s degree in ecological technology design to not only produce novel, renewable technologies and energy-efficient vehicles, but to explore efficient methods of implementing them and seamlessly transitioning our current infrastructure. I strive to be an energy solutions innovator."
