Scholarships and Financial Aid
If you are taking classes for workforce training, adult education, or personal enrichment or hobbies, your payment process will be different from students pursuing degrees.
It's easy! You will pay a fixed cost per class. Costs are listed with each course description.
Scholarships and grants are money for college based on financial need, academic achievement, specific affiliations, or leadership activities. You must be admitted to CSM and have a processed FAFSA on file.
You must repay loans after graduation, so it is important to choose the right loan for your situation.
CSM student employees consist of "Federal Work-Study students" and "student assistants." Federal Work-Study funds are a type of financial assistance for which you must apply to determine eligibility based on financial need.
We make paying for college easier with the CSM monthly payment plan—a convenient, interest-free way to budget your expenses for credit and continuing education programs. This is not a loan program, so there is no credit check.
Credit students must submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each academic year for all federal student and parent loan programs, need-based grants, the Federal Work-Study program, and some need-based scholarships. However, even if you are a continuing education student or don't believe you will qualify for aid, we urge you to complete the FAFSA.
