Kimberly J. Rosenfield, CFP, CRPS, First Vice President, Financial Advisor

Kim Rosenfield often describes herself as a social worker for people with money concerns. Just as a social worker is devoted to helping people work through challenges they face in everyday life, good financial advisors are committed to strengthening and improving the lives of individuals, families, and organizations through personalized financial management.

Rosenfield believes in the transformative power of education, so she focuses on teaching and empowering her clients to make good financial choices. Investing is hard – from understanding complex products to overcoming natural human emotions that often lead to poor decisions. Rosenfield is passionate about helping her clients learn, understand, and appreciate all that their money can do and use it to improve their own lives, their families, and their communities.

Rosenfield has earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist™, and Qualified Plan Financial Consultant credentials. She holds special designations in workplace wealth, so she can help deliver solutions to inspire both employers and employees toward financial well-being. She has completed leadership programs through Leadership Southern Maryland, Leadership Maryland, and Towson University’s Professional Leadership Program for Women.

Active in the community, Rosenfield has served in governance roles for the Zonta Club of Charles County and the College of Southern Maryland Foundation, where she focuses on empowering women by increasing access to education. Her work for the Association of Professional Investment Consultants (APIC) and the DC/Annapolis Complex Diversity & Inclusion Council centers around attracting more women to the financial services field.

Her greatest blessing is the opportunity to work with her best friend and husband, Chuck. Having successfully raised three children into adulthood and out of the house, they spend their free time traveling, playing golf, and working out at Coal Road CrossFit.

Other Ways to Celebrate Innovation

Innovation happens in small, incremental steps—not just big ideas! Try these:

Get Outside – Encourage employees to step away from their desks and refresh their minds.
Change One Thing – Challenge yourself to tweak how you start meetings or approach tasks.
Job Swap or Shadow – Gain new perspectives by experiencing a co-worker’s role.
Clear Your Calendar and Be Creative – Set aside time for brainstorming and problem-solving.
