Keynote: Early Childhood & Neurodiversity
Neurodiversity is not only acknowledging the differences in how people think, feel and learn but celebrating them. Care givers and childcare providers are essential in helping our littlest of learners in embracing their differences and emphasizing that those differences should be viewed as alternate ways to understand and navigate the world. In this session, we’ll discuss some of these perspectives and how we can shift our mindset to accept and acknowledge differences, while also enriching the early childhood environment to maximize access and understanding for all children.
