Pride (2014) is a movie that portrays the LGBTQIA+ community in the United Kingdom during the 1980s. The movie focuses on solidarity between LGBTQIA+ communities and working-class miners during a nationwide strike.
After watching the highly rated comedy-drama, we will discuss the themes, cast, and lessons of the movie. The movie focuses heavily on the theme of social justice within LGBTQIA+ communities. The movie discusses activism, group solidarity, inclusion, and justice.
