Southern Maryland Concert Band: From Darkness into Light

May 3  |  7:30 p.m.

In addition to its busy annual performance schedule, the Southern Maryland Concert Band serves as CSM’s concert band in the music program. Consisting of community members and CSM students, the band performs a concert each semester on campus as well as numerous concerts in the community.

This spring’s concert will feature a progression from beginning to end of works moving from the darker side of humanity to the lighter side. The ensemble is directed by David Monk.
