Small Engineer Repair
CSM offers a workforce training certificate in Small Engine Repair to students who complete the following courses:
- AUT-7000 Small Engine Repair
- AUT-7010 Small Engine Repair II
Learn how to repair chainsaws, snow blowers, lawn mowers, and small tractors. Students examine small gasoline powered engines from both a theoretical and practical point of view. Procedures for repair and replacement of engine parts and components are discussed. Small engine cooling, lubricating, electrical and starting systems are studied. Small engine tune-up is also covered. Textbook required.
A continuation of Small Engine Repair, this course emphasizes hands-on labs during which students repair and replace engine parts and components. Engine overhaul and engine tune-up are demonstrated. Textbook required.
