A Home Inspector examines residential property and evaluates the condition of the structure, plumbing, heating and air conditioning systems and components, electrical systems, and appliances.

career infoCSM’s TEC-5670 Home Inspection Training meets the requirements for home inspection pre-licensure for the State of Maryland (Maryland Commission of Real Estate Appraisers, Appraisal Management Companies and Home Inspectors) and Virginia (Board for Asbestos, Lead, and Home Inspectors). Students must also pass a test administered by PSI Examination Services before applying for a Home Inspector license with the Maryland Department of Labor, Maryland Commission of Real Estate Appraisers, Appraisal Management Companies and Home Inspectors.
