Makerspace

The Makerspace at the CSM Velocity Center is a 1,984 square foot collaborative community work space for making, learning, exploring, and sharing. 

It is equipped with a variety of maker equipment including 3D printers/scanners, laser cutters, soldering irons and other additive and subtractive machines for manufacturing. It also includes hardware and software for cyber/gaming, CAD modeling, simulation, app development, robotics, and prototyping. 

Together, we work–play–improve the community at the MAKERSPACE!

How to Work in the Makerspace

CSM Students and Faculty/Staff Get Free Membership
To become members, current CSM credit and non-credit students should take the Equipment and Safety: Basic Makerspace Training for Current CSM Students. Current CSM faculty/staff can head over to the NEOED dashboard and take the CSM Makerspace Safety Course.

For Non-CSM Individuals
Start by enrolling in our Equipment and Safety: Introduction to Makerspaces class, which includes your first month of membership.
