Officials, Community, and Friends Gather to
Dedicate
CSM's New Center for Health Sciences
"It takes a village, and that's what this
building represents - a village." - U.S. Congressman
Steny Hoyer
Sunlight streamed through expansive windows to
illuminate the living moss wall at CSM's new Center for Health
Sciences as students and employees gathered with elected
officials and community members to cut the ribbon on a building that
will revolutionize healthcare education in Southern Maryland.
The 50,000-square-foot building was almost a decade in
the making, with efforts spanning three CSM presidents. The building
represents Phase 2 in the development of CSM’s Regional Hughesville
Campus following the opening of the Center for Trades and Energy
Training in 2017.

No student should have
to choose between affording to live and
affording to learn.
The Help A Hawk Fund
was established to provide aid to students experiencing financial
hardship due to sudden or unexpected circumstances that impact their
ability tp remain in school. This
initiative began in March 2020 as the Student Emergency Fund in
response to the negative impact of COVID-19, and it has been gaining
momentum ever since!
Gifts of every size,
contributed by people like you, will help change the lives of CSM
students. Your support will assist potential
leaders and CSM students working toward degrees, certificates, or the
mastery of a new skill set.
