Similar to other honor societies, students receive an invitation in the mail informing them the program exists on campus and inviting them to participate. The College of Southern Maryland Student Life/Services Department sends invitations out at the conclusion of every spring semester in May. To be invited a student must meet the following requirements:
Students who wish to participate in the program upon nomination will be directed to sign up through The National Society of Leadership and Success website. There is a one-time membership fee of $85 to join.
For students who do not meet the qualifications above, but are still interested in joining, these individuals can go through the nomination process. To be nominated a student or faculty member can initiate the process by clicking here.
Please note: the program starts the last week of September and the first week of February each year. Students who wish to go through the nomination process are encouraged to do so at least 3-4 prior to the start of the program.
