Scholarship Finder

The College of Southern Maryland's Online Scholarship Finder is now available for the 2010-2011 academic year. Some scholarships have specific eligibility requirements; please see scholarship listing for details.

*Applications are still being accepted for the following awards:  CSM Foundation - Realize Your Potential Scholarship, CSM Foundation Scholarship for Returning Adults, Shani-JinakiWhipple Scholarship, Russell Gordon Croft Scholarship, Toni Hungerford Memorial Art Scholarship, Veterans Educational Scholarship, Helen and Mickey Todd Scholarship and the Saint Mary's County Government Scholarship.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Students applying for CSM scholarships must have/submit the following:

• A completed CSM admissions application with a valid CSM Student ID Number

• A completed 2010-2011 Federal Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file with CSM.  (CSM Federal School Code is 002064) To see if CSM has received your 2010-2011 FAFSA results, go to my.csmd.edu and check My Documents under Financial Aid, within Online Services.  To complete the 2010-2011 FAFSA, go to www.fafsa.ed.gov.   Allow 10 business days for your FAFSA results to arrive at CSM.

• Official Transcripts.  High school seniors and transfer students are required to submit an official transcript.

• Additional documentation.  Applicants must submit all required documentation (e.g., essay, portfolio, etc.) with their scholarship application.  You can upload these documents once you complete you scholarship application or send them to the Development Department at the La Plata Campus at the address listed below:

Scholarship applications MUST be completed by the applicant. By submitting this online scholarship application, you are certifying that all information you have provided is true and complete to the best of your knowledge.  You are also authorizing the release of information on this application and other necessary financial and academic information to the CSM Foundation, individual donors and selection committees.

Be sure to answer all questions honestly, as scholarships are available for all types of students.  Please note that applicants will be disqualified from being awarded a scholarship if they misrepresent themselves in any way.  All applicants will be notified of scholarship decisions in writing.  No scholarship award information will be given over the phone prior to written notification.
