A structural welder can earn $26,600 to start and can earn up to $72,700 as they gain experience. Certified master welders can earn upwards of $100,000 annually dependent upon their certifications and type of work.

Completers of our introductory welding program will be able to go into the welding field as an entry-level welder able to work under the supervision of an experienced welder. Completers will also be qualified to take additional classes to attain a multitude of AWS certifications. Welders construct steel frame buildings; work on nuclear power plants, on bridge construction and as valued employees in many other industries.
CERTIFIED STRUCTURAL WELDER
Works under the direct supervision of an experienced welder.
Prerequisite: Six months on-the-job experience or attendance of TEC-9300. TEC-9300 and TEC-5810 may be taken simultaneously.

Learn how to work on bridges, high rise buildings, cross country pipelines, nuclear power plant pipes, welding and many different forms of shop and manufacturing welding. Upon completion of our Basic Welding course, the students will be qualified to enroll in the following certification programs.
